Welcome to the web site of Bonnar Keenlyside. You will find here a range of the kind of work we have done in the past, as well as some examples of current activities. The current projects (Feburary 2012) we're working on are:

Winning Words - for this Inspire mark project, planning poetry related performances on the Olympic Park during the Games and Paralympics, plus an online interactive poetry based educational game (The Generator) as part of LOCOG's Get Set Goes Global programme and working with a series of beacon towns throughout the UK.

Zorlu Theatres, Istanbul - following preparation of the business case for the first purpose built theatres in Istanbul (a musical theatre at 2300 seats and drama theatre at 750 seats), we have written the tender documents, produced a shortlist of international managements to operate the theatres on behalf of our client and are advising upon the final choice of operator.

Oval House Theatre, London - we have worked over many years with OHT as it seeks to redevelop its facilities in Lambeth.  We are looking at the potential for redeveloping the existing site, plus other new sites in Brixton, supporting the theatre as it takes its plans forward to an application to the latest ACE capital funding programme.

Theatre Royal, Bury St Edmunds - working with ACE and the local Council, the Theatre Royal has commissioned a business review and options study to reconsider its current business model and to examine ways of joint working with the Apex, a new concert venue in Bury St Edmunds.

Churchill Theatre, Bromley - BK is working with Bromley Council to consider the options for redeveloping the theatre as part of an overall town centre regeneration.   The theatre is run by ATG with whom BK has been consulting closely over potential models for redevelopment or a new theatre.

Mitchell Arts Centre, Stoke on Trent - the MAC has developed its activities, operations and funding since it was established.   A new incorporated charity Mitchell Memorial Youth Arts Centre Ltd (MMYAC) has recently been created to manage the MAC.  MMYAC has commissioned a reviiew of its governance arrangements to support it in consituting a board with the appropriate mix of skills and expertise.

Travelling Gallery - the Gallery tours contemporary art throughout Scotland in its customised mobile gallery.   We are working with it to look at new income streams, including developing its services for corporate markets and the extension of its services to new markets.
